After you have configured the file selection, you can still make settings for read access. If you only want to write to this file, you can simply ignore these settings.
| Change detection | The Excel file is read into the working memory the first time it is accessed or by the read action. All further requests are processed with the values from the working memory. Because the Excel file is not read each time, triggers can be executed much faster. If you activate this option, the modification date of the file is checked before each reading trigger action. If the file has been changed in the meantime, it will be read in again automatically. If you use variables in the file name, they will not be re-evaluated each time. The file name from the first import is always used for change detection. |
