What has changed? Where are the old controls?
Trigger freely configurable | There is no longer a control datablock. Trigger variables can be freely selected. Please note: Before configuring the triggers, the PLC variables must first be imported from Tia Portal. |
More flexible with Excel and PLC | A controller can read and write any number of different Excel files. In the same way, several controllers can write to one file. All triggers from version 2 are now independent triggers. For example, “Open file”, “Close file” and “Create file” are triggers and can be configured. |
Excel Sheets | Different sheets can be read and written. |
Performance mode | Triggers are processed faster by collecting values and writing them together to the file later. |
New actions for triggers | In a trigger, several actions can be carried out one after the other. There are also some new actions: Read file names: Write all file names in a folder to a PLC variable. E-mail: Send an e-mail. You can also include PLC variables in the message. SMS: Send an SMS. You can also include PLC variables in the message. |
New ways to start a trigger | In addition to the handshake known from version 2 (variable value 1 = start trigger), there are now other trigger conditions: PLC status: When the PLC goes into stop or the connection is interrupted. New file in folder: When a new file is placed in a folder Please note: Currently there is no window for triggering manual triggers. Triggers can now be started manually from the tile individually. |
Easy Support | If you need support, you can simply create a support package in the software and send it directly. It contains system settings, log, computer information and licence information. |
